SOPHIE TURNER SUFFERS INJURY ON TOMB RAIDER SET AS FILMING IS PAUSED

British actress Sophie Turner has sustained a minor back injury during the filming of Amazon MGM Studios' forthcoming live-action Tomb Raider series, according to a report by Page Six. Production has been temporarily paused to allow for her recovery, with a spokesperson indicating that work is expected to resume shortly and expressing optimism for a swift return to filming.

The British newspaper The Sun further reports that Turner's injury relates to a pre-existing back condition, which is understood to have worsened due to the demands and long hours associated with filming since January. She is expected to return to set in due course, while crew members continue preparatory work in the interim.

Turner is part of an ensemble cast that includes Sigourney Weaver, Jason Isaacs, Celia Imrie, and Bill Paterson. The production is led by Amazon MGM Studios in collaboration with Crystal Dynamics, with Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Jenny Robins representing Wells Street Films, alongside Dmitri M. Johnson, Michael Lawrence Goldberg, and Timothy I. Stevenson for Story Kitchen, and Michael Scheel for Legendary Television.
