TOMB RAIDER I-III REMASTERED SCORES NEW CHALLENGE MODE PATCH
[ 20 August 2026 ]
Aspyr Media has released a new Challenge Mode patch for Tomb Raider I-III Remastered. New features include a brightness slider, item highlighting and a 60 fps toggle in classic mode. The update is rolling out on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PC, iOS and Android. Patch notes will be available on the official Aspyr Media support site.
Tomb Raider I-III Remastered is based on the original Tomb Raider titles created by Core Design and was released in February 2024. The remastered collection, developed by Saber Interactive and Aspyr Media, includes all expansions and secret levels from the original games. The collection also includes a Challenge Mode, which allows players to replay levels with customised modifiers and complete achievements to unlock ten additional outfits for Lara Croft.
The titles feature both an original and an enhanced graphics mode, as well as a choice between classic and modern joystick control schemes. The remasters also include a photo mode, 3D replacements for item sprites, and support for trophies and achievements. The original source code and engine are used, preserving the structure and mechanics of the original games.
