G.I. JOE A REAL AMERICAN HERO TOMB RAIDER #2 OUT NOVEMBER 2026

Image Comics has announced that G.I. JOE A REAL AMERICAN HERO TOMB RAIDER #2 will be released on 4 November 2026. In this second issue, Lara Croft, Shipwreck and a G.I. Joe battalion descend on Cobra Island by land, sea and air as they attempt to solve a puzzle before Destro and his Iron Grenadiers uncover its secret.
The series is a collaboration between Skybound, Image Comics, Hasbro and Crystal Dynamics. It is written by Kyle Higgins, with artwork by Elena Casagrande, colours by Alex Guimaraes and lettering by Pat Brosseau. The story follows Lara Croft as she travels to Cobra Island in search of a hidden treasure. There, she joins Shipwreck and members of the G.I. Joe team, while the competing duo of Destro and Baroness seek the same object.
The crossover forms part of Tomb Raider 30, a year-long programme marking the 30th anniversary of the Tomb Raider series and the Lara Croft character. Crystal Dynamics is coordinating the programme with companies working across games, fashion, collectables, publishing and fine art. The programme includes products and projects connected with the anniversary.
