LARA CROFT FACES T-REX IN TOMB RAIDER LEGACY OF ATLANTIS GAMESCOM DISPLAY

Amazon Game Studios has confirmed that Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis will feature at Gamescom, with a promotional photo opportunity located in Hall 8 at Stand B-051. The company shared an image of the installation, which depicts Lara Croft swinging from the jaws of a large T-Rex. The display promotes Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis and references the dinosaur encounter associated with the original Tomb Raider.
Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis is based on the 1996 Tomb Raider, developed by Core Design, and Tomb Raider Anniversary, developed by Crystal Dynamics and released in 2007. Its story follows British adventurer Lara Croft as she travels through Peru, Greece, Egypt and a Mediterranean island while searching for fragments of the Scion, an ancient artefact linked to Atlantis.
Flying Wild Hog is developing the game in collaboration with Crystal Dynamics. Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis is scheduled for release on 12 February 2027 for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC. The game will be sold in Standard, Deluxe and Collector's Editions. The Deluxe and Collector's Editions will include 48 hours of early access.
