TOMB RAIDER UNDERWORLD DLC ON WINDOWS PC?
[ 26 April 2024 ]
Microsoft's move to make Tomb Raider Definitive Edition playable on Windows PC could finally open the way for a port of Beneath the Ashes and Lara's Shadow, console-exclusive downloadable content for Tomb Raider Underworld.
The last update on Beneath the Ashes and Lara's Shadow coming to Windows PC came from Director of Community Meagan Marie during an official Tomb Raider 25 livestream in September of 2021. According to Meagan Marie, progress had been made in regards to the legal challenges faced and the studio would decide if they could allocate the resources required to complete the port. There's been radio silence since then.
In Beneath the Ashes, Lara Croft returns to the remains of Croft Manor in order to find a powerful artifact hidden in a mysterious centuries-old labyrinth deep beneath the estate. Lara's Shadow offers players a new perspective experiencing the world as a powerful doppelganger. Both DLCs are still available to purchase on the Xbox Store.
