TOMB RAIDER CELEBRATES TEN YEAR ANNIVERSARY

Today marks ten years since Tomb Raider, under the aegis of Crystal Dynamics, released on Windows PC, Sony Playstation 3, Microsoft Xbox 360 and OS X. Tomb Raider explores the intense origin story of Lara Croft and her ascent from an untried and untested young woman to a hardened survivor.

Written by Rhianna Pratchett and John Stafford, with music composed by Jason Graves, Tomb Raider pushed Lara Croft beyond the limits of human endurance as she fought to unravel the dark history of a forgotten island to escape its relentless hold.

Tomb Raider featured for the first time a bespoke multiplayer campaign developed by Eidos Montreal. Eidos Montreal would later develop Shadow of the Tomb Raider, bringing the Survivor trilogy to a close.
