MCFARLANE TOYS SECURES TOMB RAIDER LICENSING AGREEMENT FOR ACTION FIGURES

McFarlane Toys, the US-based action figure manufacturer founded by Todd McFarlane, has announced a licensing agreement with Crystal Dynamics to produce Lara Croft action figures based on Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis and Tomb Raider Catalyst. The agreement covers a range of figures and collectibles inspired by both games.
The collection will begin with a McFarlane Elite Edition Lara Croft figure based on Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis as part of the franchise's 30th anniversary celebrations. The seven-inch scale figure will feature Lara Croft's classic look, together with weapons and accessories. Its release is planned to coincide with the launch of Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis.
McFarlane Toys also confirmed plans to expand the collection with additional action figures and collectibles based on Tomb Raider Catalyst. Further details have not been announced. The figures will be available online and through selected retailers. Pricing, pre-order information and specific release dates have yet to be confirmed.
