CRYSTAL DYNAMICS RELEASES TOMB RAIDER 30TH ANNIVERSARY ARTWORK

Crystal Dynamics has released a new illustration commissioned from artist Inna Vjuzhanina to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Tomb Raider. The artwork forms part of a year-long programme of anniversary activities marking three decades since the original game was released in 1996. The illustration is available in multiple formats on the official Tomb Raider Flickr page, allowing fans to view and download the artwork as the series approaches the anniversary of its UK debut on 24 October 2026.

Crystal Dynamics is commemorating the anniversary throughout 2026 with a programme of collaborations, merchandise, artwork and other projects associated with Lara Croft and the history of Tomb Raider. The initiative involves companies across the gaming, clothing, accessories and collectibles industries, with products referencing characters, locations and imagery from various instalments in the series. Announced releases include collectible figures, clothing, gaming accessories and display items, alongside activities examining the development and history of the franchise.

The anniversary programme also includes an exhibition organised by Derby Museums featuring original development materials and memorabilia associated with Core Design, the Derby-based studio responsible for creating Tomb Raider. First released in 1996, the series introduced Lara Croft as the central character and subsequently expanded through multiple games and adaptations across other media.
