FLYING WILD HOG SHARES NEW TOMB RAIDER LEGACY OF ATLANTIS DEVELOPER QUOTE
[ 14 October 2026 ]
Flying Wild Hog has published another instalment in its ongoing web series examining the development of Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis. As part of the series, the studio has been polling members of its development team to gather their individual perspectives on Lara Croft and what the character means to them. The latest entry features Cinematic Artist Mateusz Kuczynski, who reflects on the character's influence and personal significance.
"In Lara Croft, I see a character with no strictly defined limits. It's thanks to her that I managed to erase my own," Flying Wild Hog shared on social media platform X.
Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis is based on the original Tomb Raider from 1996 and Tomb Raider Anniversary from 2007. British archaeologist and adventurer Lara Croft travels through Peru, Greece, Egypt and an island linked to Atlantis as she searches for the Scion, an ancient artefact. The story revisits material from the original game while adding connections between Lara's first expedition and events that occur later in her life.
The game is being developed by Flying Wild Hog in collaboration with Crystal Dynamics and is due for release on 12 February 2027 for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC.
