8BITDO ANNOUNCES TOMB RAIDER 30TH ANNIVERSARY CONTROLLER COLLECTION

8BitDo has announced a Tomb Raider 30th Anniversary Edition collection comprising two controllers produced to mark 30 years of Lara Croft and the Tomb Raider series. The collection includes the Pro 3 Bluetooth Gamepad and the Ultimate 3 Controller for Xbox, with each model drawing on a different period in the series' history.
The Pro 3 Bluetooth Gamepad, Tomb Raider 30th Anniversary Edition, references the original Tomb Raider and Lara Croft's first adventure, which was released in 1996. The Ultimate 3 Controller for Xbox, Tomb Raider 30th Anniversary Edition, takes a different approach, with its design intended to represent the series' present and future following three decades of releases.
Both controllers are part of Tomb Raider 30, a year-long programme organised around the 30th anniversary of Lara Croft and the Tomb Raider series. Crystal Dynamics is working with partners across gaming, fashion, collectibles, publishing and fine art on products and releases associated with the anniversary.
The Tomb Raider 30 programme includes gaming peripherals, clothing, comics, trading cards and memorabilia, with additional collaborations spanning several product and publishing categories.
