MASTODON 4.6.3 BRINGS INTERFACE FIXES AND UPDATES TO TOMB RAIDER SOCIAL
[ 7 July 2026 ]
Tomb Raider Social, a decentralised, open-source social networking system that allows Tomb Raider content creators to connect with other users, share content, and participate in community discussions, has been updated to Mastodon version 4.6.3. The update includes dependency updates, a new notification for available Mastodon versions, and several fixes to the platform interface and functions.
The update adds an 'update available' item at the top of the navigation bar when a newer Mastodon version is available. It also adds support for displaying post images in email notifications. The release includes fixes for several issues, including an incorrect menu option appearing on collection pages, incorrect filters being applied due to a filter cache key issue, and a missing to_json method required for the announcement reaction worker.
Other fixes address a duplicate clear button in the main search input in Chrome, a visual issue with the spoiler button, usernames not appearing during post highlight animations, and follow buttons incorrectly floating on profiles when the overview landing page is enabled.
Additional fixes include an issue with the encryption warning read-more link, failures with tootctl media lookup on some setups, visible transparent navigation link borders in Windows forced-contrast mode, and crashes caused by browser extensions injecting custom elements into pages.
