TOMB RAIDER REMASTERS ADD GOLDEN PISTOLS WITHOUT REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT

The Golden Pistols are now available to players following a recent update to Tomb Raider I-III Remastered and Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered on GOG. The online and mandatory registration requirement via the official Tomb Raider website, previously needed to unlock the feature, has been removed. According to the published patch notes, players can access the Golden Pistols by navigating to the Sunglass menu and selecting the Outfit option, where the pistols may be toggled on or off. The Golden Pistols are not available in Tomb Raider The Angel of Darkness.

Both remaster collections have received updates: Tomb Raider I-III Remastered is now at version 1.0.5d, while Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered has been updated to version 1.0.2a. Each title is available to download either as an offline installer or through the GOG Galaxy client, providing players with flexible installation options while maintaining the DRM-free nature of the GOG platform.

Released in February 2024, Tomb Raider I-III Remastered unites the first three games in the series, including all original expansions and secret levels. Players may switch seamlessly between the classic visual presentation and an enhanced graphical mode, as well as choose between the original control scheme or a modernised alternative. The collection also introduces a dedicated photo mode, three-dimensional replacements for item sprites, and over 200 trophies, while retaining the original source code and engine to ensure technical and structural fidelity to the originals.

Following in February 2025, Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered comprises updated editions of Tomb Raider The Last Revelation, Tomb Raider Chronicles, and Tomb Raider The Angel of Darkness. The remaster features improved environmental detail, refined character models, and enhanced in-game artefacts, while preserving the narrative structure and tonal qualities of the original titles. As with the earlier collection, players may alternate between modern and legacy graphical modes, allowing for a tailored gameplay experience.
