TOMB RAIDER IV-VI REMASTERED HOTFIX REMOVES AI-GENERATED VOICE CONTENT
[ 19 September 2025 ]
Aspyr has today issued a hotfix for its recent update to Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered, following concerns over the inclusion of unauthorised AI-generated voiceover content. The publisher confirmed that all AI voice elements have now been removed, while retaining the broader improvements introduced in the patch. In a brief statement, the company apologised for any disruption caused and directed players to its customer support site should they encounter further issues.
Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered, released digitally in February 2025, brings enhanced editions of Tomb Raider The Last Revelation, Tomb Raider Chronicles and Tomb Raider The Angel of Darkness. Each title has been carefully refined with upgraded visuals, including enriched environments, improved character models and reworked artefacts, all realised with respect for the original creative vision. Players may switch seamlessly between modern and classic graphical styles for a tailored experience.
Alongside visual improvements, the collection introduces revised control options, offering both traditional tank-style movement and a modern configuration. Quality-of-life enhancements, such as boss health indicators and full achievement and trophy support across platforms, further ensure a polished and accessible return to these iconic adventures.
