TOMB RAIDER IV-VI REMASTERED WILL INCLUDE 'TIMES EXCLUSIVE' LEVEL
[ 8 January 2025 ]
Matthew Ray, Brand Manager at Aspyr Media, tells Gaming Bolt that the rare 'Times Exclusive' level will be included in Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered, and the developer is exploring ways to 'improve and expand on our previous releases' without compromising the original titles, in a new interview published on the official Gaming Bolt website.
"We've introduced several key enhancements to gameplay without compromising or taking away from the original games in any way. The addition of modern controls makes the game more accessible to players who are newer to the series, but we've also kept the classic tank controls for long-time fans. We've included boss health bars (which are also toggleable), which help players strategise during tough encounters without taking away from the thrill of the challenge," Matthew Ray tells Gaming Bolt.
"Lastly, we've made the rare 'Times Exclusive' level from The Last Revelation available to all players for the first time ever, giving everyone a chance to experience this unique chapter in Tomb Raider history. There's plenty more to be excited about, but we won't spoil it all here."
Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered is set to launch in February 2025, offering revamped visuals that enhance the environments, characters, and artefacts, along with the ability to switch seamlessly between classic and modern graphics. This remastered edition of the classic Tomb Raider series, originally developed by the British studio Core Design, will also introduce a range of gameplay improvements.
