[ 9 September 2000 ]
The cast and crew of Tomb Raider The Movie, based on Eidos Interactives action adventure heroine Lara Croft, are expected to travel to Jokulsarslon on it's Iceland leg of filming. Jokulsarslon is a reservoir under a glacier where various films and commercials are shot, and according to rumours and images published in it's local paper, the set itself appears to be dressed as a native village.
As well as shoots at Pinewood Studios London on one of the biggest sound stages in Europe, Angelina Jolie, cast as Lara Croft, and the rest of the cast and crew will also travel to Cambodia for more location filming. Tomb Raider The Movie is due for release Summer 2001.
