The Tomb Raider franchise is now widely accessible on mobile devices, with titles available for both Android and iOS. These include Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, Tomb Raider Reloaded, Lara Croft GO, and Lara Croft Relic Run, each reflecting different interpretations of the series' enduring themes of exploration, puzzle-solving, and action.
A standout of these titles is Lara Croft GO, a turn-based puzzle adventure in which players guide the British archaeologist Lara Croft through the ruins of an ancient and forgotten civilisation. The game comprises over 115 puzzles across seven chapters, following a narrative inspired by the legend of the Queen of Venom.
A further addition to the mobile catalogue, the 2013 Tomb Raider origin story, is scheduled for release on 12 February 2026. Based on the original Steam edition, the mobile version has been optimised for stability and visual consistency, including the full base game, twelve downloadable content packs, and a bonus Challenge Tomb.
The availability of these titles on mobile reflects the growing emphasis within the gaming industry on accessibility and portability. The series' adaptation to smaller devices demonstrates the capacity to translate complex gameplay mechanics and narrative depth to a format suitable for a broad audience while preserving the intellectual and interactive qualities characteristic of the franchise.
