Tomb Raider Chronicles - TOMB RAIDER UNDERWORLD PLUS EXCLUSIVE DLC AVAILABLE ON XBOX SERIES X|S

Gamers who own Tomb Raider Underworld can extend their adventure with Beneath the Ashes and Lara's Shadow - two post-game chapters that continue the story beyond the dramatic events of the main game. Originally released in 2009 as Xbox exclusives, both expansions remain available to purchase today and are fully playable on Xbox Series X|S through the Xbox backward compatibility programme.

In Beneath the Ashes, Lara Croft returns to the remains of Croft Manor in search of a powerful artefact hidden within a mysterious, centuries-old labyrinth deep beneath the estate. This downloadable content features a brand-new, action-packed adventure filled with fresh challenges to overcome, a new enemy, and six additional outfits.

Lara's Shadow presents Tomb Raider from a new perspective. Players experience the world as the Doppelganger - a dark and deadly double of Lara, gifted with superhuman powers and tasked with ending the Croft lineage once and for all. With the Doppelganger's unique Shadow Powers, players can defeat enemies with brutal melee attacks and use superhuman agility to navigate challenges Lara could never conquer.

Xbox players can also access several costume packs for free if they own the base game. These are fun, cosmetic add-ons that allow gamers to dress Lara in a variety of stylish or mission-ready outfits, and include:

- The Classic Costumes Pack, featuring outfits inspired by Tomb Raider Legend and Tomb Raider Anniversary, adding a nostalgic twist to the adventures.

- The Wetsuit Costume Pack, perfect for the game's underwater sequences - this sleek outfit gives Lara a specialised deep-sea look.

- The Designer Costume Pack - a fashion-forward collection with modern designs that offer a fresh, updated aesthetic while still being battle-ready.
