TOMB RAIDER MARKS 30TH ANNIVERSARY WITH MUSIC RELEASES AND ARTWORK
[ 24 October 2026 ]
Crystal Dynamics has marked Tomb Raider's 30th anniversary with announcements covering music, digital artwork and the forthcoming Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis. The original Tomb Raider was first released in the United Kingdom on Sega Saturn on 24 October 1996, introducing Lara Croft to players for the first time. The anniversary announcements can be read in full on the official Tomb Raider website.
A new Lo-Fi Collection, produced by ThatNorskChick, features remixed music from across the series, alongside dialogue recorded by Lara Croft actor Alix Wilton Regan. Artist Tholia contributed cover artwork and an animated Croft Manor scene. The collection is available on YouTube, with releases on additional streaming services planned.
In partnership with music expert Harry Hinds, more than 500 official Tomb Raider music tracks are expected to arrive on music streaming services in November, including previously unreleased material and new compilations.
Anniversary wallpapers and illustrations are also available, including artwork by Inna Vjuzhanina depicting the original Lara Croft alongside her appearance in Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis.
The announcements coincide with anniversary celebrations in Derby, England.
