TOMB RAIDER REBOOT MARKS 12-YEAR ANNIVERSARY MILESTONE

Today marks twelve years since the opening salvo of the Tomb Raider Survivor Trilogy debuted around the world. The Tomb Raider reboot, developed by US-based video game developer Crystal Dynamics, was released on this day in March of 2013, for Windows PC, Sony PlayStation 3, and Microsoft Xbox 360.

Written by Rhianna Pratchett and John Stafford, with music composed by Jason Graves, Tomb Raider explores the intense origin story of Lara Croft and her ascent from an untried and untested young woman to a hardened survivor. Armed only with raw instincts and the ability to push beyond the limits of human endurance, Lara must fight to unravel the dark history of a forgotten island to escape its relentless hold. The game also features, for the first time, a bespoke multiplayer campaign developed by Eidos Montreal.

Take a trip down memory lane with a plethora of assets showcasing the Tomb Raider reboot and the cancelled Tomb Raider Ascension, bolstered by content released as part of Tomb Raider 25, a celebration of 25 years of Lara Croft and Tomb Raider.
