CONNECTING THE ERAS IN TOMB RAIDER THE LEGEND OF LARA CROFT

Tomb Raider The Legend of Lara Croft showrunner and executive producer Tasha Huo has spoken about bridging the gap between the different eras of Tomb Raider in an interview with Den of Geek. Terminator Zero Special Edition, the issue in which the interview appears, can be read online and is published by Den of Geek.
"We want to remain very faithful to what Crystal Dynamics is planning and what to look forward to in the games. It is this really cool in-between time where we kind of get to do, in some ways, whatever we want because we're dealing with the baseline of who she was in Shadow of the Tomb Raider, which was this young woman just surviving and trying to get by." Tasha Huo tells Den of Geek.
"We get to move her from that vulnerable place to the fun Lara Croft we remember from the very early games and the movies with Angelina Jolie. It's this great transitional phase for Lara, which is perfect for a TV show where you get to explore her emotions and inner psyche."
Tomb Raider The Legend of Lara Croft follows on from the events of Shadow of the Tomb Raider and will chart the globe-trotting heroine's next chapter as the iconic adventurer. More than 25 years after her first appearance, Lara Croft (voiced by Hayley Atwell) continues to explore ancient mysteries and uncover lost truths across breathtaking and dangerous destinations.
