CLASSIC LARA MINIATURE UNVEILED FOR TOMB RAIDER THE CRYPT OF CHRONOS

Iconiq Studios has published Kickstarter Update 34, unveiling the Classic Lara miniature, inspired by Tomb Raider Remastered, as one of several versions of Lara Croft available for players to select in Tomb Raider The Crypt of Chronos, alongside a first look at the packaging for add-ons and stretch goals.

We've gone for a remastered take on classic Lara, with a pose inspired by the iconic Tomb Raider II box art. This mini has been carefully refined through many iterations since the stretch goal was unlocked. Our early explorations included experimenting with a fully polygonal style to reflect her original look, but we quickly realised that approach didn't capture the spirit of the character in miniature form.

Instead, we drew inspiration from the recent remasters, striking a balance between classic nostalgia and modern detail. The result is a mini that feels instantly recognisable while still standing out beautifully on the table.

The update also provided a first look at packaging for add-on packs and stretch goals. Highlights include windowed boxes for the Dinosaur Enemies and Legendary Bosses, alongside two dedicated stretch goal sets: Croft Manor, which gathers tiles, missions, and the Butler miniature; and Component Upgrades, comprising enhanced tokens, miniatures, and tracker cubes. Both will be supplied at no additional cost to Kickstarter and Gamefound backers.
