The original Tomb Raider from Core Design is being remastered by Aspyr Media and is scheduled to release on 14th of February 2024. Take a trip down memory lane and enjoy twelve Tomb Raider cinematics captured from the original 1996 CDRom.
Critically acclaimed as one of the most innovative and influential games of its genre, Tomb Raider was originally developed by Core Design and published by Eidos Interactive in 1996. The game follows the adventures of the British female archaeologist Lara Croft as she searches for the legendary Atlantean Scion.
Tomb Raider is being remastered together with Tomb Raider II and Tomb Raider III in the upcoming Tomb Raider I-III Remastered and players will be able to toggle between enhanced and original graphics and switch between classic and modern joystick control schemes. The complete classic Tomb Raider experience includes all expansions and secret levels and will be playable on modern platforms.
