TOMB RAIDER ANIME IS A CHARACTER DRIVEN STORY

Tasha Huo has said "Lara Croft doesn't just go to a new temple each week but goes through a character-driven emotional story, and that excited me the most" during an interview with Variety in which the Tomb Raider anime showrunner was named screenwriter to watch.
Tomb Raider The Legend of Lara Croft is being produced by Netflix, Legendary, Tasha Huo and Dmitri M. Johnson's dj2 Entertainment. Actress Hayley Atwell will voice British archaeologist Lara Croft with Earl Baylon and Allen Maldonado onboard as Jonah Maiava and Zip. Richard Armitage has also joined the cast and will voice a character called Devereaux alongside Doctor Who star Ncuti Gatwa as Eshu.
The show is based on the video-game series developed by Core Design and Crystal Dynamics and set after the events of Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Tomb Raider The Legend of Lara Croft will stream exclusively on Netflix in 2024.
