TOMB RAIDER-INSPIRED MUSIC FROM MARCUS TROGEN

Swedish musician Marcus Trogen has released a new Tomb Raider-inspired track for Tomb Raider Memories, an as-of-yet unreleased unofficial game produced by Andres Martinez. Marcus also provided the following comments to introduce his track and detail the equipment used to create his music.

"About 10 years ago, Andres Martinez, the lead designer of the as-of-yet unreleased fan game "Tomb Raider Memories" approached me about creating the music theme for the game. The game was intended as a homage to the classic Tomb Raider titles, so with that in mind, I aimed for a classic Tomb Raider feel when composing the music.

"I used an Ensoniq SQ1 and a Roland XP-30 synthesizer, and mainly Sonic Foundry's Sound Forge software at that point, in order to put it all together. As I sat reminiscing, I realized people may appreciate hearing it. So why not share it with the Tomb Raider community? If anything, it might inspire listeners to go back and re-experience the classics."
