UNUSED MECHANICS IN SHADOW OF THE TOMB RAIDER
[ 25 December 2021 ]
Crystal Dynamics has released a new video showcasing Shadow of the Tomb Raider as part of Tomb Raider 25, a celebration of 25 years of Lara Croft and Tomb Raider. Unused Mechanic Exploration features a machete for clearing the jungle and base jumping for quick traversal. The video has been added to our Tomb Raider 25 Asset Tracker, Shadow of the Tomb Raider section and On Demand video channels and is available to watch below.
Tomb Raider 25 began in February of this year and current Tomb Raider developer Eidos Montreal and Crystal Dynamics has released a steady stream of assets each month to compliment their retrospective look at Tomb Raider past and present. This month the spotlight is on Shadow of the Tomb Raider, the grand finale in Lara Croft's origin story.
Developed by Eidos Montreal, in association with Crystal Dynamics, Shadow of the Tomb Raider released in 2018 and cost 135 million dollars to produce (including promotion). The Lara Croft-helmed video-game has sold 8.9 million units to date.
