THE LARA CROFT STYLE GUIDE HIGH RESOLUTION PAGES

The Lara Croft Style Guide is a 50-page compendium from Core Design featuring character biographies, outfits, weapons and artwork from Tomb Raider 1-5. The guide was used as promotional material to support the release of Tomb Raider Chronicles in 2000 and can be viewed by following the preview image below.

According to the press release at the time, Tomb Raider games are third-person action-adventures available for PC CD-ROM, Sony Playstation, Sega Dreamcast and Nintendo Gameboy Color formats. Tomb Raider was the first video game to feature a female protagonist: the player assumes the role of infamous adventurer Lara Croft.

Tomb Raider has gone on to become a powerful franchise, spawning eleven mainline entries, three motion pictures starring Academy Award-winning actresses Angelina Jolie and Alicia Vikander, a number of Lara Croft spin-off games, promotional crossovers and a steady stream of merchandise.
