British actress Rachel Weisz could replace Jonell Elliott as the new voice of Lara Croft in Tomb Raider Legend, according to Playstation Magazine. Born on 7th March 1971, in London, England, Weisz (pronounced "Vice") has appeared in a string of blockbuster motion pictures including The Mummy, Enemy at the Gates, Constantine and more recently The Constant Gardener.

Eidos has yet to officially announce who will voice Lara Croft in Tomb Raider Legend, so this still remains speculative. According to Playstation Magazine: "Against all expectations, we're massively excited about new Raider. Impressed by Lara's fluidic motions and buoyed by the prospect of Rachel Weisz providing her plumy British twang, we're expecting great things."

Playstation Magazine's latest Tomb Raider Legend cover injects optimism back into a franchise now preparing to deliver a seventh Lara Croft-helmed adventure care of U.S. developer Crystal Dynamics. Tomb Raider Legend will simultaneously release on all formats Q1 2006.
