FHM, the fastest growing magazine in the country, closed the first quarter of 2002 with a total of 133.3 pages, a 71 per cent increase over the same period last year. FHM's March 2002 issue carries 86.3 pages, representing a 59 per cent increase over the same issue last year. The announcement was made today by Dana Fields, executive publisher and president.

FHM kicked off the new year with a double January/February issue that posted a 99% increase over last year. "One million is our lucky number," said Fields, referring to the magazine's move to a 1 million circulation in January of this year. "We are growing all our core categories with expanded schedules from a variety of advertisers. Our tremendous circulation growth has attracted a number of new top marketers who are looking for the kind of reach and momentum most magazines in the category can't deliver."

According to Fields, the gaming category continues to skyrocket in FHM, with business from Activision, Eidos, Electronic Arts, Microsoft X-box, Midway Games and Namco. Additional new business in 2002 includes Altoids, Bacardi Silver, Ecko, Jensen Car Audio, Lugz, Sean John, Swisher and three different Wrigley's brands.

FHM's March 2002 issue features Jennifer Lopez on the cover and includes an exclusive pictorial of the entertainer. The March issue hits newsstands Tuesday, February 12, 2002.
