BILLY BOB GEARS TO PERFORM IN IRELAND

Oscar winner and husband to Angelina Jolie, actor Billy Bob Thornton is to perform in one of Dublin's smallest venue's, The Shelter in Vicar Street. On April 1st the Academy Award winning screenwriter, actor and director is returning to his first love which is music. He has now made his debut recording with a collection of dark and moody songs that reflect his many musical influences and based on many of his own life experiences.

Thornton penned Your Blue Shadow for his wife Angelina. A deeply personal song that he carried within him for several years. Apparently it speaks of the inability of the couple to be together because of a wide variety of obstacles, despite the fact that they knew that they were in love with each other. Well let's hope that Angelina shows up in Dublin, the party capital of Europe, for Billy's gig... We're sure there will be several fans with their eyes peeled just in case she does!

Billy Bob Thornton plays The Shelter at Vicar Street on Monday April 1st. Tickets are 27 EURO and are available from Soundcellar, Ticketmaster and other usual outlets nationwide.
