MINCE PIES WITH
ANGELINA JOLIE ?

John
Lennon once got himself into serious trouble by
suggesting that the Beatles were more popular
than Jesus Christ. These days it would hardly
cause a ripple, as is shown by a story in today's
Express.
An internet-based
matchmaking company called nomorefrogs.co.uk has
carried out a survey to find out who would be
the most popular person to share your Christmas
turkey with. JC came in at a lowly 42nd place,
just seven ahead of OBL - yes, that's Osama bin
Laden.
Top
of the pile was Aussie songstress Kylie Minogue,
with Robbie Williams and Madonna just a cracker's-length
behind. Graham Norton was voted an impressive
sixth, one ahead of Nelson Mandela. Ominously
for the Tories, Iain Duncan Smith did not make
the top 100 at all, while Tony Blair almost gets
a top table seat at number 13.
But IDS
can share a compensatory mince pie with Kate Moss
and Angelina Jolie, who themselves only just crept
into the list. There are worse things in life.
