SUMMIT RENEW VOWS
WITH MANDALAY

Summit
Entertainment and Mandalay Pictures have renewed
their sales and distribution vows for a further
three years according to Variety Magazine. Included
in the deal will be Mandalay Pictures' Martin
Campbell helmed refugee drama Beyond Borders,
which stars Oscar-winner Angelina Jolie and Clive
Owen. Paramount Pictures will handle domestic
distribution and Summit Entertainment will control
its overseas distribution.
The arrangement
will provide three movies a year for Summit Entertainment,
who have previously partnered on titles such as
Seven Years in Tibet starring Brad Pitt, Donnie
Brasco starring Al Pacino, Sleepy Hollow starring
Johnny Depp and The Score starring Robert De Niro
and Edward Norton. Upcoming is "Servicing Sara,"
starring Elizabeth Hurley and Matthew Perry.

and effective reach into the international market,"
said Mandalay chairman Peter Guber. "Patrick Wachsberger
and Bob Hayward provide a creative partnership
that allows Mandalay to maximize its production
