LARA CROFT TAKES TO THE STAGE

[ 7 December 2001 ]

They've never seen anything like this in cyberspace - Elaine C Smith in a more rounded incarnation of Tomb Raider babe Lara Croft. Mary Doll has swapped her hairnet for hot pants and a pinny for a pistol in a panto-mime routine.

The actress, who used to be joined at the hip to slob Rab C Nesbitt, is starring in Babes In The Wood at the King's Theatre, Glasgow. She's the dame who saves the kids - but if you were to meet this vision in stretched lycra down in the woods today, you'd be in for a BIG surprise.
