Eidos Interactive has announced Soul Reaver 2, the latest third-person action adventure from Crystal Dynamics, has made its commercial debut for PC and PS2.

In this sequel to the critically acclaimed Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver, players reassume the role of Raziel and travel back through the currents of time into various eras of Nosgoth's past in a relentless pursuit of arch rival Kain.

Features include new and improved Soul Reaver weapon enhancements, physical abilities, and relics to interact with the environment, new enemies including vampire hunters, Sarafan warrior-priests, spectral spirits, and extra-dimensional demons and enhanced graphics and combat system designed specifically for the PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system.
