Original Tomb Raider model Nell McAndrew is not the all-action heroine she is made out to be according to British tabloid newspaper The Mirror - she's scared of snakes!

She said: "I'm on a lot of game shows soon. I've done Shooting Stars and Fort Boyard. When I was going on Fort Boyard I was scared to death. I filled out a form and ticked no snakes and no spiders. I'm not really like Lara Croft - she isn't real. Who can do all that?"

Nell McAndrew currently co-presents Meridian TV's Cyber Cafe opposite Big Breakfast presenter Richard Orford. Each week, the show spotlights the wierd and wonderful world of the Internet, with regular features including a live web-cam broadcast, special guest stars and a weekly challenge for Nell suggested by viewers.
