Dance acts Fatboy Slim and Gorillaz earned three awards each, while Canadian singer Nelly Furtado was named best new pop act at the Billboard Music Video Awards.

The 23rd annual presentation of the awards, held Friday, saw Fatboy Slim win for best pop clip, dance clip, and modern rock clip for 'Weapon Of Choice.' Gorillaz's 'Clint Eastwood' animated video took home the Maximum Vision Award, as well as new rap/hip-hop artist and new modern rock clip prizes.

Nelly Furtado, who appeared with Missy Elliot and Fatboy Slim on Elektra's Lara Croft Tomb Raider soundtrack, scored top new pop artist for her hit single 'I'm Like A Bird.' British R&B singer Craig David earned a pair of prizes, including his 'Fill Me In' video, which tied for best new R&B artist clip with India Arie's 'Video.'
