Eidos Interactive has announced the forthcoming release of its beach resort simulation Spring Break developed by UK based studios Deep Red. Spring Break, designed by the studios that developed Infrogrames economic real-time strategy game Monopoly Tycoon, fine tunes the management skills required to run a successful beach resort.

Clive Robert, Managing Director of Deep Red, says his companies focus is on developing an entertaining title aimed at family audiences. "Spring Break's objective is to be fun, lighthearted, and exotic. It appeals to both males and females and plays on everyone's desire to head out on a wild, spring break getaway."

Spring Break will make its commercial debut spring 2002.
