BLACKSTAR CONFIRMS R2 DVD RELEASE

Irish entertainment distributers Black Star have confirmed Paramount Pictures Lara Croft Tomb Raider will make its Region 2 and VHS commercial debut 26th November, 2001. Exploring lost empires, finding priceless treaures, punishing villains in mortal combat... it's all in a day's work for adventurer Lara Croft (Angelina Jolie).

A secret from her father's (Jon Voight) past is about to lead Lara to her greatest challenge: The Triangle of Light, a legendary artefact with the power to alter space and time. Lara must find the Triangle before it falls in to the clutch of the Illuminati, a secret society bent on world domination. To stop the Illuminati, Lara will have to survive a cross-continental chase filled with unimaginable danger. But for the Tomb Raider, danger is the name of the game.

Additional DVD features include a Directors commentary, behind the scenes footage, cast interviews, a twenty five minute "Diggin" segment which will sport an alternative title sequence, footage from each episode of Core Designs Tomb Raider video-game, a collection of official trailers, four previously deleted scenes and the Oscar nominated Elevation music video performed by Irish rock group U2.
