GameSpy, the official online infrastructure provider for leading game publisher Eidos Interactive, have announced the launch of four premiere titles using Wildtangents Web Driver(TM) technology.

Dark Orbit, SabreWing 2, Blasterball Wild and Atomic Pop will utilize the Wildtangent Wed Driver technology to delivery an online experience on par with the quality of a CDROM game using virtually any type of internet connection. WildTangent's technology and leading edge content will be featured in a broad reaching distribution channel, of which GameSpy is one of the first to partner.

GameSpy also recently announced downloads of its popular multiplayer gaming software, GameSpy Arcade, had breached the two million mark. The revolutionary online software environment supports everything from the hardcore action games - like Quake or Half Life - to classic, board, sports or strategy games and features intelligent chat rooms, easy game launching, built in buddy list and instant messaging with support for more than 200 titles.
