G.I. JOE A REAL AMERICAN HERO TOMB RAIDER #3 OUT DECEMBER 2026

Image Comics has announced that G.I. JOE A REAL AMERICAN HERO TOMB RAIDER #3 will be released on 2 December 2026, and has also published the cover variants for the issue. In the third issue, Lara Croft, Shipwreck and a G.I. Joe battalion face Destro's Iron Grenadiers as they attempt to uncover the secret of the ARBCO Star.
The series is a collaboration between Skybound, Image Comics, Hasbro and Crystal Dynamics. It is written by Kyle Higgins, with artwork by Elena Casagrande, colours by Alex Guimaraes and lettering by Pat Brosseau. The story follows Lara Croft as she travels to Cobra Island in search of a hidden treasure. There, she joins Shipwreck and members of the G.I. Joe team, while the competing duo of Destro and Baroness seek the same object.
The crossover forms part of Tomb Raider 30, a year-long programme marking the 30th anniversary of the Tomb Raider series. Crystal Dynamics is working with partners across gaming, fashion, collectibles, publishing and fine art on products and releases associated with the anniversary.
