TRAVERSAL AND MOVEMENT EXPLORED IN TOMB RAIDER LEGACY OF ATLANTIS MINI-DOC

Amazon Game Studios has released a new video offering a behind-the-scenes look at the development of Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis. In this episode, developers from Flying Wild Hog and Crystal Dynamics examine traversal and movement, and how the central character, Lara Croft, uses these systems to explore the world and overcome challenges.

Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis, developed by Flying Wild Hog in association with Crystal Dynamics, is based on the original Tomb Raider and Tomb Raider Anniversary, developed by Core Design and Crystal Dynamics respectively. The title follows Lara Croft as she searches for pieces of the Scion, an ancient artefact of immeasurable power. What follows is a tale of adventure, intrigue and double-cross, culminating in the stand-off between protagonist Jacqueline Natla and Lara Croft.

The game will be available in Standard, Deluxe and Collector's editions, each offering different content, and is scheduled for release on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC on 12 February 2027. The Deluxe and Collector's editions include 48 hours of early access.
