BEHIND TOMB RAIDER LEGACY OF ATLANTIS WITH LEAD GAME DESIGNER RADU BOGOS

Flying Wild Hog continues its web series featuring members of the development team behind Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis, discussing what the character of Lara Croft means to them. This instalment features Lead Game Designer Radu Bogos, who reflects on one of the environmental hazards encountered in the series and references a well-known gameplay moment involving Lara Croft's doppelganger.

"Thanks to Lara, I know what to do if I ever meet myself: Lava," says Lead Game Designer Radu Bogos.

Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis is based on the original 1996 Tomb Raider and recreates its story using Unreal Engine 5. The game features updated visuals, revised gameplay systems, and additional narrative content while following Lara Croft's search for the Scion, an artefact that leads her through Peru, Greece, Egypt, and an island associated with the legend of Atlantis.

The game is scheduled for release on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC on 12 February 2027. Selected editions include up to 48 hours of early access before the standard release date.
