G.I. JOE: A REAL AMERICAN HERO TOMB RAIDER LIMITED SERIES REVEALED

AIPT Comics has published a preview of G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero/Tomb Raider, an upcoming five-issue limited series that brings together the Tomb Raider and G.I. Joe franchises. The crossover is introduced in G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero #330, which features Lara Croft's first appearance ahead of the launch of the new series. The first issue is scheduled for release on 7 October 2026.
The series, a collaboration between Skybound, Image Comics, Hasbro and Crystal Dynamics, is written by Kyle Higgins, with artwork by Elena Casagrande, colours by Alex Guimaraes and lettering by Pat Brosseau. According to AIPT Comics, the story follows Lara Croft as she travels to Cobra Island in search of the Arbco Star, where she joins Shipwreck and members of the G.I. Joe team while the competing duo of Destro and Baroness pursue the same objective.
The crossover is part of Tomb Raider 30, a year-long programme marking 30 years of the Tomb Raider series and the Lara Croft character. Organised by Crystal Dynamics in collaboration with partners across gaming, fashion, collectables, publishing and fine art, the initiative includes a range of commemorative products.
