RECOVERED AUDIO ACCOMPANIES TOMB RAIDER LEGACY OF ATLANTIS MINI-DOC TEASER

Amazon Game Studios has announced that a new mini-documentary exploring the creatures of Peru featured in Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis will be released next week. The announcement was accompanied by recovered audio that appears to depict a Tyrannosaurus rex. The announcement was published on the studio's official X account.
Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis is a reimagining of the 1996 game Tomb Raider, originally developed by Core Design. The game features updated graphics, revised gameplay systems and additional narrative content, and is developed using Unreal Engine 5.
The story follows Lara Croft as she searches for fragments of the Scion, an artefact that takes her through the jungles of Peru, the ruins of Greece, the deserts of Egypt and a remote island shrouded in mystery.
The game is scheduled for release on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC on 12 February 2027. Selected editions include up to 48 hours of early access before the standard release date.
