TOMB RAIDER AND RISE OF THE TOMB RAIDER LEAVING XBOX GAME PASS

Microsoft has announced that Tomb Raider (2013) and Rise of the Tomb Raider will leave Xbox Game Pass for console, PC and cloud on 30 June. Both games remain available to purchase through Xbox as part of the Tomb Raider catalogue. Their removal forms part of Xbox Game Pass's monthly rotation of titles.

Tomb Raider is the first entry in the Survivor Trilogy and follows Lara Croft's development from an inexperienced young woman into a survivor. The enhanced edition includes updated character models and environmental detail for newer console hardware. Gameplay centres on combat, weapon and equipment upgrades, survival mechanics, and exploration as players investigate a mysterious island.

Rise of the Tomb Raider is the second game in the Survivor Trilogy. It expands on the gameplay and narrative established in Tomb Raider (2013), adding new locations, exploration systems, combat mechanics and character progression features. The game was written by Rhianna Pratchett, with music composed by Bobby Tahouri. Camilla Luddington provides the voice and performance capture for Lara Croft.
