TOMB RAIDER ANNIVERSARY REACHES NINETEEN-YEAR MILESTONE SINCE LAUNCH

Today marks nineteen years since Tomb Raider Anniversary was released in Europe. Inspired by the original Tomb Raider video game, developed by Core Design and released in 1996, Tomb Raider Anniversary was developed by Crystal Dynamics and sought to preserve the elements of the original game. The title has sold more than seven million copies worldwide.

Using an enhanced Tomb Raider Legend game engine, the game's graphics, technology and physics updated Lara Croft's adventure and her pursuit of a mystical artefact known as the Scion for contemporary gaming hardware, while offering players a new gameplay experience.
