JASON ISAACS COMMENTS ON TOMB RAIDER SERIES AT BAFTA TV AWARDS

Jason Isaacs has said he is enjoying filming Tomb Raider during a red carpet interview at the BAFTA TV Awards, but offered little further detail, saying that 'the secrecy is extraordinary'. The British actor stars opposite Sophie Turner and Sigourney Weaver in the upcoming television adaptation.

Amazon MGM Studios and Crystal Dynamics announced plans for the live-action Tomb Raider series in May 2024, with filming commencing in January 2026. Sophie Turner stars as British archaeologist and adventurer Lara Croft, leading an ensemble cast in the latest screen adaptation of the video game franchise.

The series is produced by Amazon MGM Studios in association with Crystal Dynamics. The executive producers include Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Jenny Robins for Wells Street Films; Dmitri M. Johnson, Michael Lawrence Goldberg, and Timothy I. Stevenson for Story Kitchen; and Michael Scheel for Legendary Television.
