CAMILLA LUDDINGTON EXPRESSES INTEREST IN TOMB RAIDER SERIES VILLAIN ROLE

Camilla Luddington has spoken about her time portraying Lara Croft in a recent interview with People, offering advice to British actress Sophie Turner, who sustained a minor injury during filming of Amazon MGM's live-action Tomb Raider series, and expressing interest in guest-starring as a villain in the upcoming adaptation.

"I just remember being so sore the next day," the actress told People. "I'm sure she has a lot of heating pads already all over her. That would be... Yes, yes. Hot baths and heating pads."

When asked if she would guest star in the upcoming television series, Luddington said she would be interested in portraying a villain. "I would love to be like a baddie. That'd be fun to be a villain, right? Yeah, I would love that. Thanks for throwing that out to the universe for me."

Luddington voiced Lara Croft in the Survivor Trilogy, comprising Tomb Raider, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and Shadow of the Tomb Raider, from 2013 to 2018. Turner stars as Lara Croft in the latest screen adaptation of the video game franchise, leading an ensemble cast including Sigourney Weaver, Jason Isaacs, Celia Imrie, and Bill Paterson.
