TOMB RAIDER LEGACY OF ATLANTIS SCORES CLASSIC EXPLORATION AND STORYTELLING

A producer at GRIP Studios has confirmed his involvement in Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis, having collaborated closely with lead developer Flying Wild Hog as part of a co-development arrangement. Working within an agile production framework, he highlighted the delivery of 'significant and meaningful results', expressing particular pride in the collective achievements of the development teams, while noting that further details will be shared at a later stage.

He described the project as a contemporary reimagining of the original Tomb Raider, emphasising a design philosophy centred on 'classic exploration, deeper puzzle-solving, and expanded storytelling'. According to his remarks, the title seeks to honour the legacy of the franchise while advancing it through modern gameplay systems and technological enhancements, aligning with the broader objectives of the Tomb Raider 30 anniversary initiative.

Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis is being developed by Flying Wild Hog in collaboration with Crystal Dynamics and published by Amazon Game Studios, utilising Unreal Engine 5. The game is scheduled for release in 2026 on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC, positioning it as a key milestone in the evolution of the long-running action-adventure series.
