ASPYR MEDIA RESPONDS TO FEEDBACK ON TOMB RAIDER I-III REMASTERED UPDATE
[ 18 March 2026 ]
Aspyr Media has issued a public response addressing player feedback following the release of the recent Challenge Mode update for Tomb Raider I-III Remastered. The statement comes amid widespread reports of technical issues and criticism surrounding the update's visual quality and overall performance.
In a message shared via social media, Aspyr acknowledged the concerns raised by players and confirmed that resolving the reported problems is now a priority. The company stated that it is currently working on a forthcoming patch aimed at addressing texture-related issues as well as a range of technical bugs affecting the collection across all platforms.
"We hear and appreciate your feedback regarding the recent Challenge Mode update for Tomb Raider I-III Remastered. Our top priority is the delivery of a patch that will fix the texture issues and technical bugs. In addition, a series of updates are on the way to address a variety of technical issues across all platforms," Aspyr Media posted on the X platform.
"This is also an opportunity to correct some mistaken information: The outfits in the update were created by our team of artists; no AI generated assets were used in the update. We'll release more details on the patch content and timing as soon as possible. If you'd like to help us prioritize fixes you can report bugs at support.aspyr.com"
The Challenge Mode update, which introduced new objectives and unlockable content, has received a mixed reception since its release. While some players welcomed the additional gameplay elements, criticism has largely focused on technical issues, including visual inconsistencies, audio glitches, and gameplay bugs reported across the remastered titles.
