TOMB RAIDER I-III REMASTERED PATCH SCHEDULED FOR RELEASE ON THURSDAY

An upcoming patch for Tomb Raider I-III Remastered is scheduled to be released on Thursday. To mark the update, Aspyr Media has released a short video hinting at the changes coming to Lara Croft in the classic Tomb Raider series. The patch is expected to go live on all platforms in the mid-afternoon, with further updates and the full patch notes anticipated later in the day.

Tomb Raider I-III Remastered is based on the original Tomb Raider titles created by Core Design and was released in February 2024. It was positively received and performed above management expectations, according to Embracer Group. The remastered collection, developed by Saber Interactive and Aspyr Media, includes all expansions and secret levels from the original games.

The titles feature both an original and an enhanced graphics mode, as well as a choice between classic and modern joystick control schemes. The remasters also include a photo mode, 3D replacements for item sprites, and support for trophies and achievements. The original source code and engine are used, preserving the structure and mechanics of the original games.
